A successful CO2 carbon capture and sequestration project requires the participation and cooperation of multiple parties to be successful.

1. CO2 Generation – Produces CO2 as part of industrial production and hosts equipment operations on-site

2. CO2 Capture and Transportation – Invests capital to build the qualifying capture Facility.  Installs and operates new equipment to capture and process CO2 and transports CO2 to storage site

​

3. CO2 Storage & Sequestration – Invests capital to build and operate the carbon storage facility in suitable geological sites.  Injects CO2 into secure underground storage facility and monitors facility for potential leakage over future decades

4. Tax Equity Financing – Provides capital to the ecosystem and pays for the project operations (including payments to CO2 Generator, CO2 Capture operations, and the CO2 Storage & Sequestration entity)
